this is called a sacred datura where i live, arizona. sometimes there will be a faint blush of lavendar at the edges. the scent is hypnotic!
they are among my favorites in the flower world, especially since they grow wild in the arroyos. sometimes i will come across a bush with 9 or more open blooms, and of course i must sniff each and every one!
